Rotation for Allocating the "Big Three" Tournaments in the Gulf Coast Division
Current State of the Rotation List
This information, last current as of July 25th, 2008,
includes information and actions since the rotation was initially seeded.
- FCUH:
- Seed 15.
- Offered the 2005-2006 SSCC tournament Monday, April 28th, 2005 at 6:47 PM, as if the previous club had
just declined the offer of this same tournament. (In actuality, the previous club had accepted the tournament
three days earlier, but final word had been received from the Southwest Section Executive Committee that such
would not be permitted. The rules for the Rotation had no provision for such problems external to the Rotation, and this offer was made without authority. At its June 29, 2005 meeting, the Executive Committee ratified what would
have been the host determined by these unofficial offers.)
- Declined Tuesday, April 29th, 2005 at 1:11 PM.
- As the offer had been unofficial, for lack of procedures to cover the unusual situation, it was ambiguous
where to move in the list. At the July 13, 2005 meeting of the Executive Committee, it set the rotational order
to be what it would have been if this offer had been official at the time.
- After allocation of the 2008-2009 tournaments,
was first in order
and assured it would be offered all three of the three tournaments for 2009-2010
unless it left the USFA before then.
- SC:
