1999 General Membership Meeting

  • The meeting was called to order by Daniel Gorman at 7:25 pm on 30 Sep 99. There were 18 members of the division present.
  • Elections
    • Nominations
      • Chair -- Mauro Hamza
      • Vice Chair -- Elsayed "Bakoko" Emara
      • Secretary -- Daniel Gorman
      • Treasurer -- Oliver Diaz
    • Motion to close nominations; seconded.
    • The vote was unanimous with no abstentions.
  • New business
    • Bill Ashe raised the issue of a division or section schedule. Daniel Gorman said the Section was waiting for the Gulf Coast officer report to mail its schedule. Mauro Hamza said he planned on having a division schedule completed in a few days.
    • The issue of increasing membership involvement was briefly raised and discussed.
  • Meeting adjourned by Daniel Gorman at 7:35 pm.
