Executive Committee Meeting
February 22, 2005

After extensive preliminary discussions, the meeting was called to order at 8:46 PM by Chairman Louise Lepie at the Houston Athletic Fencing Center at 4997 West Bellfort, Houston. The meeting was an adjourned meeting, continuing the session begun on February 17th. Other Officers present were Vice Chairman John Trojanowski, Secretary Matt Delevoryas, and Treasurer Dennis Meyers.

Dennis Meyers moved:

Whereas, Katy Blades has knowingly scheduled a tournament on the same weekend as the SSCC's Rose Condon tournament; and

Whereas, The cooperation and support of all the clubs within the Gulf Coast Division is necessary for the SSCC to be successful; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Executive Committee considers the actions of Katy Blades to be inappropriate, in that it violates the spirit of cooperation within the SSCC.

The motion passed without objection.

The members of the assembly had discussed before the meeting the general concept of Division Bylaw revision, and different ideas for how to arrive at any revisions which might be appropriate. In this regard, Matt Delevoryas moved that "the Executive Committee requests that the Chairman seek names to be submitted to the Executive Committee, to serve on a committee to be created by the Executive Committee in the near future, to study and recommend Bylaw revisions for the Division". The motion passed without objection.

Dennis Meyers moved to adjourn. The motion passed without objection. The meeting adjourned at 8:48 PM.
