[Spring 2004 Secretary's note: It appears that this meeting was intended to be a meeting of the Executive Committee. However, no quorum was present, hence business could not have been transacted. Additionally, it appears that this meeting was called by Treasurer and Chairman-elect Andrey Geva (hence, there was no valid call of the meeting, but the participation of Chairman Mauro Hamza implies that the meeting was with his consent, and can be considered in effect to have been called by him). The first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Gulf Coast Division was called by Andrey Geva, Chairman-elect for Tuesday, 10 June 2003. Attending were Andrey Geva, Mauro Hamza (Secretary-elect) and Oliver Diaz.

Vice-Chair-elect August Skopik and Treasurer-elect John Trojanowski were absent due to work conflicts.

The following notes were suppiled by Coach Geva:

1. On the meeting attended: Andrey Geva, Mauro Hamza, Oliver Diaz (the man who agreed to set up the Division's web site )

2. Was made following decisions:

2.1 Oliver will design the web site and will present it on the next meeting. The Division will pay for his work ($300 depends on the hours he will spend for the project).

2.2 The next meeting will take place in Salle Mauro on this coming Tuesday [June 17, 2003] [Spring 2004 Secretary's note: This bracketed insertion appeared in the source data and is not my insertion] at 8.00PM. On this meeting the officers will discuss the new Division web site in order to make a final decisions.

This writer was unable to attend that next meeting as well, arriving thirty minutes late. As soon as the results of that meeting becomes available it will be disseminated here.
