Notes from Divisional E.C. meeting 3/6/98:

• Sectionals to be held at Texas A&M. Club gets $250.00 to $300.00 for hosting.
• Divisionals to be held second weekend of May at U of Houston. U of Houston Fencing Club receives entry fee.
• U of Houston Fencing Club also receives two divisional reels to be bought at nationals.
• Division will look into putting ads in area newspaper/magazines to promote fencing in the Gulf Coast area.
• Each club mentioned in add [sic] campaign will pay a minimal fee to help defray the cost of ads.
• Division will look into supporting scholarships at area clubs.
• To receive divisional equipment a club must participate in divisional activities i.e. scholarships, add [sic] campaign, tournaments, etc.
• To receive divisional equipment clubs must pay a $50.00 deposit.
